Job Description

A global leading provider of fiduciary & legal services are seeking a legal counsel to join its team in Jersey, Guernsey or London. Reporting to the Head of Legal, your key responsibilities will be the provision of legal advice & governance support to the various partnerships & companies in the Group, working with partners & senior management.

You will assist with projects to enhance the Group protocols on letters of engagement, terms of business, panel terms & supplier contracts. Review & advise partners & employees the Group's third-party supplier & panel terms client contracts, NDAs & license & other commercial agreements from a legal & regulatory perspective & developing a precedent bank. Act in a Company Secretary role (as required) & assist with Co Sec activities of the Group service company boards & global committees. Prepare board & committee papers, reports, minutes & action trackers ensuring that actions arising at meetings are monitored & followed up. Assist with the entity admin, including maintenance of registers & statutory books, filings & registration renewals to ensure the Group entities remain in good standing.

The successful candidate be a qualified lawyer (in Jsy, Gsy, UK or Cayman) with 3+ years PQE who likes to work as part of a team. You will hold excellent academics, be proactive & thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be organised & have the ability to manage & prioritise own workload. Team player, calm & confident. Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills with attention to detail & ability to draft legal documents & plain language policies & reports. Advanced MS Office skills.
