Our client is seeking a Junior Assistant Relationship Manager to join their Wealth Management team on a temporary basis. The Junior Assistant Relationship Manager will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, knowledge, and expertise to clients and both internal and external stakeholders. Job Duties
- Monitor the central email account daily, coordinating with the team to prioritise and action tasks effectively.
- Input loans, deposits, payments, and other ad-hoc transactions on a daily basis.
- Liaise with clients or Referral Officers to provide updates on account status and communicate any changes promptly.
- Review daily transaction reports to identify clients needing cash management and ensure the accuracy of processed transactions.
- Confirm securities, treasury transactions, and execution prices with clients or Referral Officers, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
- Investigate and resolve any settlement and custody queries received from clients and Referral Officers.
- Conduct client callbacks related to incoming and/or outgoing payments, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Participate in ongoing transaction monitoring to ensure full understanding and documentation on client accounts.
- Input future date transactions into the diary system, including payments, roll-over fixed term deposits, and loans.
- Monitor incoming cashflows and follow up on any funds that cannot be applied to client accounts to resolve missing information.
- Respond to client queries promptly and accurately, including delivering ad-hoc statements/valuations and investigating payments and pricing queries.
- Contribute to various projects within the Wealth Management team as required.
- Coordinate the request and receipt of signed account acknowledgements when necessary.
- Assist in preparing fee letters for new and existing clients, detailing transaction and service charges.
- Assist in producing daily reports on cash positions/inflows, ensuring all supporting documentation is obtained and recorded to meet source of funds requirements.
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of banking and its operational processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication abilities.
- Capability to handle basic administrative tasks through to more complex client needs and requests.
