Job Description

Great role providing level 1-2 end-user Service Desk support including IT systems and equipment such as network servers, pcs and laptops, PBX telephone equipment, security systems, copiers, scanners, printers, network cabling and mobile devices; installation and upgrade of new/existing hardware, software and systems; perform regular security audits; protect IT systems integrity; end-user training; maintain IT troubleshooting; maintain IT validated documents and asset inventory; ensure IT policy adhered to; assist with testing of disaster recovery plans, document the disaster recovery tests and help resolve issues.
Post school qualification/apprenticeship required plus qualification/experience in IT; proven experience of at least 3 years supporting IT systems and in Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Office) and Citrix, XENAPP, DNS, DHCP and LDAP; knowledge in mail filtering products, communication and collaboration tools, video conferencing, backup and replication tools, protection tools, virtualisation basics, and networking; technical competency with desktop hardware and configuration (Printers, scanners, copiers, PBX; able to train users; risk aware; excellent communication skill.
Must have flexible approach to working hours: shift hours and on-call support.  Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
