Investment Manager

Exciting role managing investment accounts (DPM and ADV) in line with client mandate/restrictions, group investment policy and regulations, ensuring strategy changes implemented and trades executed.  Postholder will understand client/regulatory restrictions and tax position; contribute ideas to deliver investment performance via asset class specialist groups, huddles or other forums; write up and share briefing notes on investment ideas; promote full product range; work closely with CRMs and provide clients with specific allocation and products in line with client risk profile, investment strategy and local regulation; present bank offer internally and externally; provide input into design and content of marketing materials; engage positively with the Client Solutions Group Risk and Oversight team in their check and controls, Peer Reviews; ensure full compliance; perform review meetings with clients; provide client advice and answer queries.
Candidate must be qualified, could be mid manager level but will consider someone more junior too.  He/she must have experience and understanding of all major asset markets (equities, bonds, FX, commodities, hedge funds); sound understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction principals; good understanding of investment risk management issues; good knowledge of UK regulatory framework; strong analytical skills; attention to detail; good communication skills; competency with Microsoft office programs (in particular Excel); understanding of UK tax framework; must be able to hit the ground running.
