Job Description

Role can be based in Southampton, Jersey or Luxembourg, providing generalist HR duties and supporting processes for employee lifecycle events such as leavers, transfers, promotions, maternity leave; maintain accurate data and assist with pulling reports and data analysis; advise and guide managers and staff on HR policy and procedures, including tracking probation periods, managing absence, and assisting with handling grievance and disciplinary matters; answer staff queries and emails; contribute to communication processes; keep up to date with relevant employment laws, legislation and best practice in all relevant jurisdictions.
Requirements are sound technical and practical HR experience in financial services business at same level; strong understanding of local employment legislation in Jersey/Luxembourg/UK; strong communication, numeracy, data entry, relationship and interpersonal skill; proactive approach to HR management; awareness of industry best practice on recruitment and of developments in all jurisdictions; attention to detail and accuracy; IT proficiency including advanced MS Office; quick to learn new systems; proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems.
