Head of Quality and Safety at States of Jersey

The role of the Head of Patient Safety within Health and Community Services (HCS) will provide strategic leadership and direction in Quality and Safety across the organisation. he role is responsible for the development and implementation of a quality and safety strategy, which provides clarity on clinical governance, policy and procedural frameworks; enabling the organisation to promote, develop, measure and continually improve both clinical quality and controls assurance standards; as part of that framework enable/facilitate a positive risk management culture. The Head of Quality and Safety reports to the Office of the Medical Director and works closely alongside the Chief Nurse.
