Job Description

This role provides strong leadership and management of approximately 50 team members and works closely with Risk & Compliance Teams to help ensure that employees adhere to regulatory obligations, building strong working relationships and ensuring team has knowledge of CDD and KYC; manages delivery of operational efficiencies in internal client onboarding processes to drive accuracy of process execution and capture of data quality in core systems; identify and implement new technologies such as software solutions to automate repetitive/manual activities; continuous review of data integrity for MI reporting;  management oversight of risk assessment panel process; implementation of necessary quality assurance processes; identifying process improvements and service innovation changes; identify risks in client lifecycle management process and recommend mitigation strategies.
Candidate will have at least 7 years relevant experience in Financial Services, preferably with Corporate Services and/or Legal provider; hold industry recognised compliance/KYC/risk qualification; excellent awareness of AML/CFT risk assessment and mitigation tools; excellent knowledge of Cayman/ Hong Kong/ BVI/ Jersey/Guernsey/Luxembourg regulatory and legal requirements with respect to client onboarding and risk management; ability to make judgements and use initiative; proven track record of people leadership expertise and experience of managing cross-jurisdictional teams; ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and influence; excellent interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills; team player; ability to prioritise work load and meet tight deadlines; strong experience of driving process efficiency; experience in Programme/Project Management would be a benefit.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
