Job Description

Great role supporting Tech Team helpdesk and users serving as first point of contact for users as Level 1 troubleshooting then escalating to Level 2 if issues not being able to resolve at Level 1; working as part of Global Tech Team with focus servicing offices in Mauritius, Switzerland, Jersey and London, communicating and liaising in all IT related events and issues; management of office facilities liaising with suppliers and building landlord on matters relating to office facilities; being risk aware/conscious reporting; communicating and liaising all IT and facilities risk matters to Trust Group CIO/COO; driving efficiencies and identifying trends or gaps in training; keeping Policies, Procedures and user knowledge base updated.
Previous experience an advantage in customer support and helpdesk support, Microsoft desktop support, customer support and helpdesk support, managing existing email accounts; general understanding of enterprise phone call managers, switches, routers and network firewalls not essential but preferable; experience of Laserfiche not essential but an advantage; experience with VC and Mobile phone set up and configuration; strong troubleshooting, interpersonal and communication skills; good team player; able to assess situations for decision making; critical thinking and logic ability; strong self-sufficiency and initiative; proactive.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.  Need to be flexible for working weekends and out of hours.
