Fundraising and Relationship Officer
Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR)
Salary: negotiable depending on experience
Part-time, 20 hours per week/ Flexible, primarily home base

Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR) is seeking a Fundraising and Relationships Officer to support the delivery of its vital services across the island.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in generating income and building meaningful relationships with donors, corporate partners, trusts, and foundations. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will help shape and deliver fundraising activity aligned with the organisation’s priorities and growth ambitions.

The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a tangible impact within a small, purpose-driven organisation.

Key features of the role include:

  • Developing and delivering a multi-channel fundraising strategy
  • Identifying and securing new income generation opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, funders, and corporate partners
  • Managing a pipeline of funding applications, including trusts, foundations, and grants
  • Organising and supporting fundraising events to raise income and awareness
  • Ensuring effective donor stewardship, including updates and reporting
  • Supporting marketing, communications, and awareness activity
  • Acting as an ambassador for JAAR with external stakeholders
