Job Description
The postholder will administer and provide secretarial services for established and new Real Estate and Private Equity Funds, undertaking projects regarding various high quality clients; coaching and mentoring junior staff; managing client relationships. He/she will maintain investor details and investor related documentation, perform calls and distributions, create and maintain client records; help create and maintain Fund Company investor/Limited Partner registers; become familiar with Limited Partnership Agreements and other material agreements/legal documents; perform daily cash management tasks; be familiar with banking and payment processes; billing and cash collection, formatting and systems; assist with take-on and set-up of new clients; coordinate initial secretarial and regulatory needs of clients; create new SPVs, Limited Partnerships and Trusts; complete KYC/AML policy; organise board meetings for acquisition and disposal of investments, admitting new investors or amendments to material fund documentation; participate at meetings and ensure timely completion of minutes and resolutions for review.
This is a position is best suited to a commercial yet technically minded individual who can provide technical and operational solutions to clients; educated to at least ‘A’ level/equivalent; preferably holding/studying towards ICSA Diploma/similar/willing to study for; demonstrable real estate/private equity/trust and company experience; preferably exposure to corporate structures, SPV administration; Company Secretarial knowledge advantageous; familiar with statutory requirements and corporate governance; proficient in understanding of private equity and real estate agreements and terms; strong report writing, presentation, communication and problem solving skills; ability to use initiative and work independently; familiar with KYC requirements.
Training provided. Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
