Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join a well-established private family office based in St Helier.

This is a broad and rewarding role. Working as part of a small, stable and supportive team, you will play an important role in maintaining day-to-day operations whilst contributing to future process enhancements and strategic projects.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, advisers and service providers, you will take ownership of a varied workload spanning financial reporting, fund administration, governance, compliance and operational improvement activities. The successful candidate will be encouraged to challenge existing processes, including through the use of emerging AI technologies, identify efficiencies and contributing to the ongoing development of the family office's systems and controls.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial reports
  • Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
  • Assisting with tax, regulatory and compliance-related reporting
  • Liaising with auditors, advisers and external service providers
  • Monitoring operational controls and governance processes
  • Supporting investment and fund administration activities
  • Identifying opportunities to automate, streamline and improve processes
  • Assisting with business and operational projects, including structural and system enhancements

About You

You will be an experienced professional with a background in investment operations, fund administration, finance, accounting, fiduciary services or a related professional services environment.

You will have:

Our client is open to considering both full-time and part-time applications, with working hours between 30 and 35 hours per week based in the office.
