Freight Operations Coordinator at DFDS A/S

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the efficient handling of check-ins, ticketing, and vessel operations. We are seeking a candidate with current Customs clearance experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the import and export process. Ideally, the candidate will also possess knowledge of POAO goods and the specific documentation these commodities require. You will use various systems, handle communication with customers and authorities, and assist with the loading and discharging of vehicles and freight.

Operate Seabook and Phoenix systems for vehicle check-ins.
Provide service updates as directed.
Verify hazardous materials in Hazcheck.
Coordinate with authorities for safety compliance.
Assist with vessel loading/discharging, including reduced mobility passengers (using UHF radios).
