Job Description

Our client is seeking individuals at a range of levels to undertake short-term contracts, whether administrators just starting out or fully qualified accountants with lots of experience, to help whilst implementing a new system, Aderant.  Duties involve dealing with tasks/enquiries from the Finance helpdesk; completing project work to support department/group, and implementation of new system; providing absence cover for other members of the Finance Team; posting and maintaining records in main practice management system; assisting staff with billing runs, including raising invoices and proformas; running reports and other breakdowns; for those with more experience duties would involve processing and delivering core management reports for fee earners, practice areas and  partnership; liaising with business heads to identify and implement measures to improve various finance processes; completion of statutory and regulatory returns including VAT and GST; taking responsibility for specific project related activities.
Prior experience in a Finance team is essential; previous experience with Aderant is desirable; confidence with IT, with solid MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; team spirit; accuracy and an eye for detail; highly organised, with great time management skills; flexibility and a pro-active outlook; calm under pressure.
The Finance team is based in Jersey but there is the option to work remotely from the UK.
