Finance Officer

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join one of Jersey’s leading law firms. This role is available to candidates in Jersey or Guernsey.

 

  • The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the Finance Operations Manager and Finance Officers to complete the general administration of the Finance team.
  • Accurate recording of all supplier invoices, staff expenses and other charges in the financial accounting system to ensure all outward payments are made within the agreed timeframes
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, corporate credit cards, regular transactions (standing orders, direct debits, payroll, taxes, insurances etc.) Ensuring outstanding reconciliation entries are investigated and resolved within agreed SLAs
  • Management and resolution of day-to-day queries
  • Liaise with the Finance Operations Manager in identifying, preparing, and reporting required monthly cashflow and reconciliations
