Working closely with the Head of Finance Operations and the Assistant Manager, the Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the finance department.
Your work will involve combining hands-on financial management with people leadership, supporting and developing a high-performing team. Responsibilities will include overseeing cash flow forecasting, supporting foreign currency processes, acting as the escalation point for issues relating to financial operations transactions, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and make better use of new technology. Our client is seeking someone with experience at manager level within a professional services environment and a strong background in leading operational finance teams. You will also have proven experience managing accounts payable and receivable, ideally within a law firm setting. Excellent communication skills, alongside a calm, organised, and proactive approach with sound judgement, are key to success in this role.
