Job Description

Great role supporting Jersey and Guernsey offices administering the financial aspects of property conveyancing, including recording the transaction in the accounting software and settlement of monies; monitoring of client and office bank accounts and subsequent posting in the accounting software; working as part of a team to maintain the accounting records at both the client matter level and group level; paying suppliers and staff expenses; providing cover for other accounting functions when necessary.
Requirements are GCSE Mathematics grade B; attention to detail; basic accounting knowledge; strong communication skills; ability to work under pressure; competence in Excel and accounting software programmes; good time management; ability to reconcile complex accounts; good team player; desirably law firm experience and Entry level accounting/book keeping such as CAT.
Role to be based in Jersey or Guernsey.
