FBO Manager
Skywalker Flight Training & FBO — Jersey Airport

At Skywalker, flying isn’t just a skill — it’s an adventure. Based at Jersey Aero Club, we run a busy general aviation FBO and flight training operation, and we’re looking for an FBO Manager to take the controls of the front of house.
The role
You’ll lead our FBO team and set the tone for everyone who comes through the door — visiting pilots and crew, private owners, Jersey Aero Club members, students, and first-timers arriving for a trial flight. You’ll oversee the lounge day to day: meet and greet, bookings, charges and amendments, standards and presentation, and making sure we’re ready for every aircraft movement. You’ll also help organise Skywalker events.
Reporting to the Head of FBOs / Accountable Manager, you’ll handle staff coordination, supplier relationships, revenue capture and commercial performance, and take part in out-of-hours callout when needed. Aviation Security procedures are integral with this role.
What we’re looking for
• A consistently high standard of service in a busy, fast-moving environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence communicating at every level
• Strong organisation and real attention to detail
• Composure under pressure
• Confident with Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
• A full driving licence, and the ability to pass airside security ID checks
• Entitled or Entitled to Work status for Jersey
Experience in customer-facing hospitality, tourism, leisure or aviation is an advantage, along with a head for the commercial side — but we’ll train the right person.
