Engineer at Mercury Distribution Ltd

To carry out breakdown repair, PPM service and the installation of customer commercial equipment along with promoting sales of new equipment where possible.

Main duties and Tasks:

- Electrical qualification required
- Repair, service and installation of commercial equipment with a focus on Air conditioning
- Service, maintenance and repair of such equipment to level of ability using experience, diagnostic tools and supplier information
- Provide basic user advice on equipment to customers regarding installation, service, repair and usage
- Visits to sites to plan installations, measure up, look at suitability of equipment, manpower required, timescales, etc
- Attend supplier training both on and off island
- Vehicle checks monthly
- Assist with in-house, on-site training for other Mercury engineers
