Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of administrative support for a broad range of litigation matters and admin matters, duties involve answering telephones, taking and forwarding messages, opening and scanning mail received in and saving to client matter, photocopying correspondence, drafting simple letters for serving, filing documents and preparing documentation; organising travel, booking fee earners onto conferences and events, booking meeting rooms, equipment and catering, bundling and preparing files for Court, managing marketing database, paper and electronic files, preparing standard form engagement letters and terms of business, dealing with CDD for new files, billing and preparing invoices, transferring fee earner time, editing, amending and formatting PowerPoint presentations, completing internal payment request forms and liaising with Finance team, circulating conflict checks, performing database searches and collatingresults; requesting closed files from the archive; file closing.
Candidate will have excellent academics and be a graduate preferably; excellent attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills; good numeracy skills; ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and to tight deadlines; well versed with desktop programmes including MS applications and Adobe Professional or PDF Docs.  Training will be provided.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
