Our client is a very well-known and reputable Jersey legal practice specialising in various disciplines of law. They are constantly executing their plans of growth and investing in their team. On their behalf we are sourcing a fully qualified (Jersey or English/Irish/Scottish) solicitor with excellent academics.
You will also have passed the Bar Professional Training Course or the Legal Practice Course in E&W (or similar course in Scotland or Northern Ireland). Candidates with a minimum of six months' worth of relevant PQE or pupillage in a contentious law area will be considered, as long as they meet all requirements.
You will have a good understanding of relevant Jersey law in both principle and practice. Good drafting skills with the ability to carry out legal research relevant to the practice area. Business Development acumen. Good level of literacy and numeracy and computer proficiency with intermediate knowledge and ability to use related technology efficiently and effectively. Timely and disciplined in time recording, invoicing, and debtors.
You will ideally have experience in representing clients in court or assisting lawyers who have done.
