Job Description

Primary purpose of role is to provide quality support for wide range of Group software applications across 6 jurisdictions, acting as last line of internal support to Line of Business products involving reviewing, replicating and detailed troubleshooting of application issues and involvement in upgrades, new features and new implementations, system and database administration to achieve technical delivery and working through project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution selection, working with suppliers, testing, final delivery and ongoing support; pro-active in identifying opportunities and delivering enhancements and integrations; liaising with supplier support desks; deploying fixes to the LAB environment; performing and managing testing of fixes and managing release of fixes into Production environment; documentation and recording; active engagement with business users; managing, co-ordinating and validiting data.
Candidate will have successful history of comprehensive Application Software support and leading delivery on IT Projects / work streams; team spirit; demonstration of continual development as an IT Professional; ability to develop constructive working relationships; self-motivated; ability to prioritise tasks and an ability to work across competing priorities; strong organisational, numeric, communication and analytical skills; attention to detail; desirably experience with SQL, Sharepoint and open technologies, ViewPoint, iManage, Interaction, Elite, Aderant Expert, Metastorm, and IT qualifications.#
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
