Deputy Mental Health and Capacity Law Administrator at States of Jersey

The Mental Health Service is recruiting a Deputy Mental Health and Capacity Law Administrator who will be a key agent in enabling the Minister for Health and Social Services to fulfil their statutory functions under the Capacity and Self-Determination (Jersey) Law 2016, the Mental Health (Jersey) Law 2016 and Human Rights (Jersey) Law 2000.

The Deputy will assist, and from time to time will formally cover, the Mental Health and Capacity Law Administrator. The Administrator is provided with delegated authority by the Minister for Health and Social Services, to manage the day-to-day administration and associated tasks in respect of the legislation and ensure the strict compliance with the relevant statutory duties.
