Deputy Head of Compliance

As a Deputy Head of Compliance, the successful candidate will work closely with and deputize for the Head of Compliance, in driving achievement of varied compliance function deliverables, participating in governance forums and project working groups as applicable.  The role provides an excellent opportunity  to the suitably experienced candidate to be appointed as MLCO & MLRO for BHCML & BHIPL and be directly accountable to boards of regulated entities and to JFSC regulator for AML/CTF/CPF and Sanctions-related matters.
The role includes helping facilitate Compliance team management of relationships with the JFSC and with other regulators, and, with Auditors for both fund and firm financial statements. You will also develop, critique and maintain compliance monitoring systems and controls (including policies and procedures) in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
