Established in 2005, the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General (CandAG) is required to provide the States with independent assurance that the public finances of Jersey are being regulated, controlled, supervised and accounted for in accordance with the Law.

The Jersey Audit Office is now well established and valued, respected for its important contribution to public service in the States of Jersey.

Given the strong foundations and practices already in place, the appointee will be tasked with the continuous improvement of the office’s performance.
