Dealing and Treasury Support

The  role  involves  close  and  regular interaction with Internal Advisors and teams and external contacts; assisting dealing desk; instructing Delivery Free of Payment with custodian and following up settlement with external counter- parties; dematerialisation of share certificates. Interacting with custodians; providing back office services on trades placed via brokers; processing transfer in and out of cash from pool account to clients; AML understanding and third party payments decision tree resolution; covering settlements, reconciliations, resolving operational issues; assisting on queries; maintaining, streamlining and enhancing client reporting capabilities and providing view only access to Investment clients; managing and mitigating operational risk; cross selling Group services.
Candidate will have CISI/IAG qualification; at least 5 years experience in banking/investment environment an advantage; significant experience of settlements (DFoP, DVP, CREST DTC, cross-border); strong understanding of FATCA and CRS regulations; understanding of principles in trading equities, funds, FX and cash management and settlement; good understanding of regulations and compliance obligations (KYC and AML) pertaining to investment business operating in Jersey and regulated by the JFSC; ability to manage priorities efficiently under pressure; good team player; excellent analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy; motivation; client orientated with strong client care / service attitude.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
