The purpose of this role is to be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions that enable the business to make data-driven decisions and automate business processes. The role bridges operational systems, cloud data platforms, and analytics tools-ensuring high-quality, timely, and well-modelled data is available for reporting, analytics, and advanced use cases such as predictive modelling and optimisation. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Data Analytics Engineer contributes directly to improving customer experience, operational efficiency, and strategic insight across the organisation, while continuously improving the reliability and maturity of the data platform. Candidates should have strong SQL skills (SQL Server and/or Azure SQL), including query optimisation and data modelling. Strong dimensional and analytical data modelling skills, experience with Modern Data Platforms using the Microsoft stack.
