Great role undertaking functions for regulated, listed and private equity clients. Postholder will facilitate Board meetings, prepare and circulate meeting material, attend meetings and take minutes; set up and maintain hard copy statutory record files; log agreements on client master agreements log; arrange notarisation, banking and facilities; complete and update Signatory mandates; document completion for listing new fund/new class of existing fund; complete and submit annual return forms; complete Company tax application on incorporation; ensure statutory fees paid for annual returns, regulatory and stock exchange filing; ensure distribution of accounts and statutory filing; notify Regulator of changes to signatories/directors/auditors/documentation; maintain registers; maintain procedures; enable compliance to maintain error/breach reports and logs; have available KYC information; assist with preparation of Regulatory compliance visits; assist with review of accounts, marketing material and prospectuses; review SLAs; prepare Insurance Proposal Forms and ensure cover maintained; assist with training of junior staff.
Requirements are good knowledge of offshore fund industry particularly regulatory requirements; exposure to risk/compliance work in context of fund administration; knowledge of funds laws and regulations; funds experience preferable; desire to learn Stock Exchange listings requirements; client oriented; goal driven; should hold or be working towards ICSA; equivalent and willing to learn about requirements and practicalities of regulated, listed and Private Equity clients; at least 2 years relevant industry experience; excellent time management; able to work under pressure; good judgement and problem solving; strong team player; strong communication and negotiation skills.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
