Job Description

This is a great role driving new business sales and identifying client insurance needs through active prospective and providing excellent advice and servicing suitable products in order to establish strong working relationships, and in so doing meet profit and growth targets.  Postholder will review and evaluate client portfolio and products; arrange and attend client meetings; actively seek out opportunities to generate new business and/or to cross sell/upsell; liaise and negotiate with Underwriters and/or approved insurers to obtain appropriate policy cover and terms; ensure product fair prices are maintained; train,develop and coach less experienced colleagues; deliver short term / one-off projects.
Candidate will be a great team player; be customer focused and results driven; support change initiatives; be pro active and self motivated; hold relevant professional qualification (or in the process of obtaining) is desirable such as DIP CII; excellent inter-personal skill; be approachable; experience of working in a customer focused and performance driven environment; experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships; experience of delivering sales in a targeted and regulated environment is essential.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
