Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-focused individual to join their Client Take-on team as either an Administrator or Senior Administrator. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and well-established legal environment. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the client due diligence and onboarding process, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and open client and matter files using the onboarding software
- Check internal databases to confirm client status and identify any screening risks
- Conduct media searches and appropriate background checks
- Prepare both internal and external documentation, including high-risk and PEP applications where relevant
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate the collection and review of CDD documentation
- Track the receipt of CDD information and provide regular progress updates to fee earners
- Collaborate with fee earners to determine appropriate approaches for obtaining additional due diligence
- Assist junior staff with CDD formulation and understanding complex structures
- Consult with the Compliance team for guidance where necessary
- Escalate any potential risks or concerns to appropriate stakeholders promptly
- Maintain awareness of relevant regulatory requirements, particularly in Jersey, Guernsey, BVI, and Cayman
Job Requirements:
- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
- Ideally working towards or holding a relevant ICA qualification
- Previous experience in a client take-on or CDD-focused role
- Prior experience in a professional or financial services environment
- Understanding of company, trust, and fund structures is desirable
- Exposure to compliance or legal work would be beneficial
- Sound knowledge of AML legislation and a willingness to develop further technical understanding
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively under pressure
- Organised, methodical, and accurate working style
- Positive, solution-driven attitude and team-oriented mindset
