Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated Client Take-On Administrator to join their global Risk and Compliance Team, based in either Jersey or Guernsey. This role is integral to the client onboarding process, focusing on ensuring compliance with client due diligence requirements across various jurisdictions, including Jersey, Guernsey, the UK, BVI, and Cayman Islands. Job Duties:

  • Assist with client due diligence inquiries and document collation for non-regulated business clients
  • Provide support across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with financial crime, data protection, and confidentiality regulations
  • Conduct CDD collation and participate in client risk assessments by analysing complex legal entity structures
  • Communicate with clients or designated contacts to obtain necessary CDD documentation
  • Execute financial crime and AML risk assessment processes in line with company policies
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance team to ensure consistent compliance across all jurisdictions
  • Adapt to changes in procedures and contribute to process improvements and efficiencies

 

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a CDD/client take-on role within a regulated financial services business or professional financial services firm
  • Knowledge of corporate and fiduciary services, including complex structures in Cayman, BVI, and Hong Kong
  • Familiarity with financial crime regulations for law firms or regulated fiduciary and corporate services in at least one jurisdiction: Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, or BVI
  • Ability to understand and apply complex procedures across various regulatory requirements
  • Developing risk management skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to assessing client risk
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn multiple onboarding applications and client administration systems
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to procedural changes and contribute to team support
