Our client is seeking to appoint a Client Reporting Associate / Senior Trust Accountant to prepare and review financial statements of large trust and company structures in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards, advise on financial reporting impact of complex, non-standard transactions, support the team with on audit process, tax and regulatory filings (FATCA and CRS).
You will provide support on quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes, liaise with external client stakeholders (advisors, bankers, lawyers, consultants) in close coordination with the Wealth Planning teams to coach and review the work of junior team members in the day-to-day maintenance of books and financial records of clients, and participation in various Client Reporting and Investment Monitoring improvement projects and initiatives implementations (automation, system development, standardisation).
The successful candidate will need to hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA / ACA / CPA / CIMA), with at least 5 years of experience in accounting, controlling or auditing. Knowledge or experience in the Trust industry would be an advantage. You will need to have developed IT skills (advanced proficiency in MS Excel), knowledge in NAVOne would also be an advantage. You will need strong analytical and technical skills with an eye for details. Knowledge of UK taxation or private equity would be an advantage.
