Job Description

Postholder provides client service to real estate and private equity funds including liaising with team and developing internal controls and policies; being principal contact with Client and Board Directors; liaising with lawyers, tax advisers and regulatory authorities; managing investor query flow and responding to complex queries; reviewing and authorising payments; overseeing audit process and liaising with external independent auditors; reviewing client financial and investor reporting, loan interest, accruals, management fees and carried interest if qualified accountant; reviewing drawdowns, distribution and equalisation processes; training team; carrying out existing investor CDD; migration/onboarding of accounting platforms; reviewing reconciliation processes including underlying investment; assessing and monitoring risks and producing controls to mitigate risks; preparation and review of board materials for board meetings; attending and presenting at client board meetings.
Candidate will hold ACA/ACCA/CA/equivalent/chartered secretary such as ICSA/equivalent qualification; real estate or private equity accounting exposure; strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail; ability to communicate at all levels; excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel intermediate level; strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management; proactive with very close attention to detail; able to use all standard business software; flexible, with ability to work to time pressures and react to changing demands; ability to manage own workload and prioritise; team player.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
