Chef/Senior Chef at Rafiki

The Chef/Senior Chef will support the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared and presented to Rafiki’s standards of quality, consistency, and authenticity. The role requires experience in a busy kitchen environment, a good understanding of African-inspired cuisine, and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, service delivery, supplier ordering, stock management, and cost control. They will monitor stock levels, carry out regular stock counts, check deliveries for quality and accuracy, and help minimise waste through effective stock rotation and portion control. They will also maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of ingredients.
