Job Description

12 month fixed term contract managing reporting to risk governance committees including meeting pack collation and preparation for meetings; streamline and rationalise reporting processes and support staff in smaller sites; coordinate Risk Control Assessment process on behalf of Risk Owners and Control Owners including trigger event monitoring, stakeholder engagement, meeting organisation and outputs, and engage Risk Stewards; use KPIs to facilitate control monitoring; produce Business and Function operational risk reporting and insight based on Risk Control Assessment results; track and provide advice on completion of management response actions, ensure timely and accurate recording in operational risk management system; establish and maintain strong working relationships through governance committees and other networks to ensure compliance and success; promote operational risk awareness, including training and communications for the Business.
A University degree in a relevant discipline is required; knowledge and experience of private banking is an advantage; strong risk control and compliance mind-set; excellent skills in MS Office, Power Point and Excel essential; demonstrated ability to multi task and work independently; good team player; strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills; ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources; able to reconcile conflicts; sound business and technical domain knowledge; strong interpersonal skills; high level of initiative; ability to quickly acquire knowledge and adapt to on-going change; able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.
