Our client is seeking to appoint a Business Support Administrator for their Onboarding Team.
This person will be responsible for the AML side of the client onboarding process and be the first point of contact for all internal AML/onboarding queries.
Specific duties include:
Undertaking and performing a complete client onboarding services for the senior Tax Team. This to include directly liaising with intermediaries and clients, requesting, and reviewing CDD ensuring that it is correct and in order and in accordance with regulation and internal P&P's, to enable client onboardings.
Dealing with and documenting high risk factors and obtaining appropriate ECDD, assisting in the preparation of initial risk assessment forms and new business checklists, working with the wider business support team to enable appropriate searches to be undertaken, reviewing, and documenting as necessary any adverse media "hits".
You will be working with the business support team to ensure that ad-hoc AML tasks are managed (for example change of address / client death /change of trustee etc), act as a first point of contact for the Tax Team in respect of questions they may have regarding client onboarding and/or AML obligations and issues, and to manage the annual and periodic risk review cycle and when possible, preparation of such reviews.
The successful candidate will need a good technical knowledge of the GFSC AML/CFT framework & risk management, previous experience in a similar role, you will have excellent organisational & administrative skills, be detail orientated and analytical, with excellent client interaction and communication skills, and able to work on their own initiative.
