Business Manager - Service Lines

Job Description

Our client is seeking an an experienced individual with sound commercial acumen, ideally gained from working in legal or accounting sectors to support Service Line Heads for three Service Lines (Corporate/Banking and Finance/Funds or Dispute Resolution / Private Wealth / Local Legal Services) and Executive Board members to lead and drive achievement of agreed business goals.  He/she will manage constructing/renewing and reviewing and agreeing service line business plans and associated budgets and implementation within budget; use data to identify hotspots; collaborate with HR to ensure successful integration of any senior hires through onboarding and integration plans; work on upstream strategic investigation and research and downstream strategic project implementation.
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and written communications skills with a proven ability of successfully interacting professionally with a diverse group of all levels of stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive change; project management skills, with a related qualification ideal but not imperative; tech-savvy, with a digital-first mindset; superior time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and deliver to deadlines, taking accountability for actions and ideas from inception to delivery; ability to work both independently, use initiative and equally confident working effectively as part of a team, collaborating and supporting colleagues.
Role can be Jersey or London.
