Our client is seeking to appoint a Business Development Executive. Working closely with your colleagues you will be advising on and implementing a wide range of strategically aligned activities, projects and initiatives, both in the local market and independently.
You will need to be able to demonstrate a commercial awareness coupled with excellent organisation and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include the implementation of the Guernsey corporate team's plan, undertake research and analysis on clients, intermediaries and key markets, using systems to capture, process and report on client data, assist with the production of relationship summaries, pitches, and credential statements, liaise with lawyers and other business team members to deliver successful events including organisation of the operational and logistical aspects including external suppliers.
The role requires a candidate with demonstrable business development / marketing and events skills set, an enthusiastic and proactive approach, effective project management skills including an ability to manage and prioritise tasks, time, budgets, and people in order to meet deadlines. You will have proficient written and verbal communication, and presentation skills, show high attention to detail and accuracy. Ideally our client is seeking a candidate who holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
