The Jersey Evening Post and Bailiwick Express has a vacancy for a Business and Finance Correspondent.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Island’s biggest media group in its new business and commercial unit.
Ideal for someone with a flair for writing and an in-depth knowledge of the Island’s finance industry and associated sectors, this new position will involve attending events and reporting on the key issues at the heart of Jersey’s biggest sector.
As part of a growing business team, you will provide incisive news coverage and analysis of economic and finance stories, as well as interviews for print, online and podcasts.
You will also help to drive All Island Media’s commercial platforms, identifying new revenue-generating opportunities and providing content for a range of publications and digital platforms.
This role would be ideally suited to someone working in a PR or communications role who has gained an insight into finance and business, and is keen to put these skills to use in a busy newsroom.
