Associate (Corporate and Commercial)

Great role advising clients, leading file management, working with wider teams on larger-scale transactions and playing material role in business-development activities.  Candidate will draft and review commercial leases; draft and advise on property finance documentation; assist with matters in relation to commercial acquisitions and disposals;  managing files and transactions, including resolving issues that arise during transactions; identifying key issues; accept assignments delegated from Partners; demonstrate good commercial awareness relevant to clients’ differing objectives and needs; work in compliance with AML; communicate with clients on all aspects of a matter, particularly with regard to scope of work, the anticipated costs and disbursements, progress during matter and any issues; manage different work-streams for multiple clients; preserve and enhance existing client relationships of the firm; contribute to business development activities; mentor and supervise junior members of team.
Our client seeks a qualified lawyer of up to 3 years’ PQE with experience in the corporate and/or commercial departments of local or reputable law UK firms.  The successful candidate will need to bring excellent technical skill and knowledge, good communication skills and a strong teamwork ethic.
