Job Description

Exciting role opportunity maintaining knowledge and control over assets and activities of trusts administered for varied portfolio, keeping data maintained up to date and relevant.  Postholder will prepare resolutions and minutes, arrange board meetings and present documents to management/directors for review; incorporate companies and establish trusts and foundations; obtain fee quotes from lawyers for new structures; deal with third party service providers; lead on transactional work including property purchases/sales and restructuring; train junior staff on transactional work; accurate record time and achieve daily target of 80% billable time; complete compliance/regulatory matters; resolve review action points on risk-based approach; lead in client billing process and collect receivables where due; review work in progress and raise additional fee invoices if work out of scope; assist in training and development and project; ensure strong working relationships; assist with new business opportunities.
Strong understanding of Jersey financial services law required, along with attention to detail, strong time management and organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills at all level; ability to work using own initiative and make decisions; good team player; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Level 4, formal qualification/other related university/tertiary qualification; at least 5 years’ trust and company administration experience exhibiting supervisory ability and leadership qualities; comprehensive understanding and good technical knowledge of TCB administration, legislative, compliance and regulatory requirements as well as an awareness of the tax implications of various structures.
Five years' residency in Jersey required.
