Job Description

Our client seeks the right person to assist with managing a small team,m ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and ensuring client assets correctly identified and allocated.  He/she will ensure prompt and correct filing of returns; liaise with and attend/accompany Trust Manager/Director to meetings with clients; suggest improvements for streamlining policies; maintain accurate records in client entity database including setting up new clients; provide training; monitor client transactions; report suspicions to the MLRO; attend in-house meetings; along with HR, deal with issues relating to poor performance and/or behaviour and ensure adequate files notes are maintained; assist with ensuring that scheduled staff absences such as holidays and training are adequately monitored; with assistance from HR, conduct probation review meetings and Return to Work interviews; conduct appraisals; assist with staff recruitment.
This position requires a qualified Trust & Company Practitioner with 5-8 years relevant experience and knowledge of the offshore trust industry and regulations; excellent organisation, communication, relationship and time management skills; ability to assist with management and development of a small team; full professional qualifications and/or membership of appropriate recognised industry qualification; Table 5 Professional Qualification with a willingness to continue to study for a Table 4 Professional Qualification; competent with MS Word and Excel; knowledge of Unity or a similar database is advantageous; working Knowledge of Jersey Financial Services and AML legislation.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
