Assistant Sommelier at The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Sommelier to join our award-winning team. In this role, you will assist with the service, promotion, and sales of wines across the Hotel, while supporting the maintenance of our prestigious wine list. You’ll ensure stock is well managed, deliveries are handled efficiently, and impeccable wine service. During quieter periods, you will also support the restaurant's service team. You will work closely with our Head Sommelier, a highly recognised professional in the industry—making this an exceptional development opportunity. Together, you will help control costs, support team training, and deliver memorable guest experiences through expert wine recommendations and service. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication and organisational skills, great attention to detail and a passion for wine.
