Job Description

Postholder will oversee administration of two debt funds and two managed accounts with team of two administrators and be heavily involved in  launch of third debt fund; review of investor admissions, calls and distributions and trade settlements; payment review and approval and distributions/asset settlement; co-ordination of investment process; co-ordination of powers of attorney and proxy voting for corporate actions in underlying investments; review and maintenance of statutory records and investor details; preparing board packs, attending meetings and taking minutes; including presenting investment recommendations and answering questions; dealing with set up/take on and winding up processes; implementation, development and maintenance of systems ad policies; communicate with compliance function; maintain awareness of fund, trust and company and related regulatory developments; participate in client review and compliance monitoring programmes. 
Previous experience, at a level of assistant manager or above, of fund administration; previous line management experience; hold ICSA/STEP; GCSE English and Mathematics at Grades A* – B) and A Levels/Degree; familiarity with fund related constitutional documentation such as limited partnership and shareholders agreements; sound understanding of investments, funds, treasury functions and associated terminology; Company Secretarial background beneficial; knowledge of Investran / Viewpoint / Allvue advantageous; problem solving / management skills; IT literate and experience of all MS applications;  ability to work to a high degree of accuracy; ability to work autonomously; strong organisational ability; communicates effectively with all levels; good team player with positive attitude; ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure; ability to follow and develop procedures; flexible; results focused.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
