Job Description

Our client seeks the ideal person to be responsible for all aspects of client service for a group of real estate and private equity funds including liaising closely with team and develop team's internal controls.  He/she will liaise with lawyers and tax advisors; manage investor query flow and respond to complex queries; review and authorise payments; oversee audit process and liaise with external independent auditors; assist with the resolution of complex accounting matters; prepare and/or review client financial and investor reporting, including consolidations, loan interest, accruals, management fees and carried interest, and drawdowns, distribution and equalisation processes; train team; carry out CDD on new and existing investors; migrate/onboard accounting platforms; review reconciliation processes including underlying investment; assess and monitor risks and mitigate; prepare, review materials for, and attend and present at board meetings.
Candidate will be professionally qualified/part qualified such as ACA/CA/ACCA/equivalent/chartered secretary such as ICSA/equivalent; ideally real estate/private equity accounting/admin exposure; strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail; excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel intermediate level; excellent interpersonal, strategic thinking and leadership skills focusing on relationship management; ability to communicate at all levels; proactive with very close attention to detail; able to use all standard business software; flexible, with the ability to work to time pressures and adapt to change; ability to manage own workload and prioritise; team player.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
