Job Description

This is a great role to undertake Company Secretarial administration, preparing/reviewing client deliverables and reports and dealing with client queries; organising board meetings including compiling board packs; co-ordinating Directors’ diaries to confirm dates for board/client meetings and setting up rooms/arranging facilities; using software to create board packs; attending at board meetings, committee meetings; taking minutes at board meetings and circulating; developing action plan from minutes; using myRegistry for submissions, including beneficial ownership and control, company incorporations,  annual confirmation statements; maintaining registers, including directors, shareholders, partnership interests, conflicts of interest; question and analyse why chargeable hours targets are not achieved; apply internal risk management procedures and ensure team applies them; give regular feedback on general company climate at all levels; delegate and evaluate junior staff.
Candidate will be professionally qualified/part qualified, such as ICSA/ACCA/ICAEW/equivalent; 5 years+ experience in financial services; advanced accounting and/or administration skills; some Legal and corporate tax/tax knowledge; able to lead others; strong analytical skills; team player; flexible; able to work to deadlines, manage workload and prioritise; accuracy; able to identify and resolve issues; proactive with very close attention to detail; exceptional, administrative, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills; working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access; able to use all standard business software; mastered specific accounting software. 
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
