Job Description

Postholder will support ISAE 3402 control framework and annual audit across Jersey, London, and Luxembourg and roadmap for scope extension to Ireland; liaise with auditors for internal readiness assessments and control testing processes; resolve audit identified deficiencies; help in identification, analysis and specification of key business controls; keep updated with core system changes; involved in controls monitoring to ensure timely adherence of business controls and frequent reporting; ensure compliance in use of key business controls; support identification of controls within core systems; contribute to how business controls can integrate with core systems; take part in projects; contribute to regular Client Operations team meetings; assist in provision of MI; develop key relationships; lead, coach and motivate direct reports through training; assist in meeting team objectives and SLAs; develop/enhance team specific procedures; conduct appraisals; support in recruitment interviews.
Candidate will hold/be working towards ICSA/ACCA/ACA qualification; 3 -5 years’ relevant finance industry experience; understanding of business controls; desirably ISAE 3402 experience and experience developing and coaching others; knowledge of current industry legislation and regulation; practical application of training and people management; general IT awareness; MS Office skills and change control procedures experience; analytical and communication skills; able to manage conflicting and demanding deadlines and organise workload; relationship builder; focused; proactive and disciplined; ability to work in fast paced, high pressured work environment; team player; motivated; results driven; strong commitment to client delivery excellence.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
