Job Description

Are you ACCA or ACA working towards it & looking for your next challenge? Do you have up to date UK GAAP and IFRS technical knowledge and some knowledge of US GAAP? If so read on, as this could be the role for you.

As an Assistant Manager of Client Accounting in the Governance Services Department, you will join our client's global accounting team in the Jersey office. You will work closely with the team on the provision of accounting services to client entities of the department (which covers Jersey, Guernsey, UK and Cayman).

You will prepare & review accurate financial statements under UK GAAP, IFRS & US GAAP as required & in accordance with agreed deadlines. Prepare & review reports & net asset valuations. Ensure that accurate & up to date accounting records are maintained in client entity databases. Ensure that you have a detailed understanding of the transactions you are dealing with & liaise with your line manager as required. Undertake complex accounting work with minimal supervision. Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, clients & auditors. Act as a role model to junior colleagues.

You will have five or more years' experience in a related role. Experience of Viewpoint & Yardi would be advantageous. You should have advanced Excel skills. Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision throughout the day. You should have the ability to prioritise tasks, time & people to meet deadlines as required.
