Job Description

Our client seeks the ideal candidate to manage portfolio of more complex and key entities for the production of financial statements, management accounts and other financial reporting.  He/she will carry out high level reviews of financial statements prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and in accordance with accounting standards; assist in development of operating framework which supports business growing needs, utilising shared service centres and playing active part in  deployment strategy; support production of monthly and quarterly Management Information and present findings in governance forums; comply with local regulatory and AML/CFT requirements; comply with Group policies and procedures; report suspicious transactions to MLRO/equivalent designated person; lead and contribute to projects, initiatives, system and process enhancements that impact Client Accounting.
Candidate will have 5 years of financial services experience; be JFSC Category B Table 4/5 qualified/equivalent; demonstrate successful relevant experience at a high level in a similar role; knowledge of accounting standards, trust administration and Jersey Company Law and the ability to remain up to date with appropriate legislation and professional standards; strong communication and organisational skills; ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, demonstrate responsiveness, provide a proactive approach to work and take initiative; intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
