Job Description

Great role managing portfolio of clients with team, becoming expert in technical matters and sharing knowledge with team; ensuring compliance with procedures and standard documents; contributing to development of procedures and precedents; ensuring statutory returns prepared and submitted and clients' statutory records and database up to date; maintaining awareness of interest rate movements, changes in legislation; considering regulatory issues and reporting concerns; communicating with clients and intermediaries to establish and maintain productive working relationships; conducting meetings, producing minutes and resolutions; overseeing quality of client service provided by direct reports; maintaining and updating client documents; completing client take-on process; generating new business; being innovative with improving efficiencies; input into the targets and appraisals of direct reports; ensuring clients correctly invoiced; controlling work in progress; ensuring timeliness of debt collection; ensuring matters reviewed for profitability at least annually, and corrective action taken; assisting with fee proposals and quotations for new business.
Candidate must have experience of successfully managing a complex portfolio of capital markets/ corporate clients and supervising junior team members; self motivated and able to deal with tasks independently and use own initiative; strong academic background and hold or be working towards ICSA/STEP/ACCA; excellent communication skills; expert knowledge of MS Office and good all round computer skills; high level of attention to detail; team player, display positive attitude and willing to assist with team projects; confidence to participate in client care and business development meetings.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
