Job Duties:
- Work effectively with a broad range of global stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Serve as the key contact for all banking partners, assisting with periodic client testing and ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements.
- Provide support for requests for new bank and third-party providers, presenting proposals to the Group Banking Committee.
- Assist with mapping and updating banking and treasury policies and procedures, including developing and implementing preventative measures and control mechanisms to meet local and regulatory standards.
- Draft bank account opening applications for new group bank accounts.
- Support the development of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiencies across banking and treasury services.
- Manage and maintain the Banking and Treasury SharePoint site.
- Maintain, update, and distribute the group's authorised signatory lists.
- Assist with the annual audit of the Authorised Signatory List.
- Ensure all tasks are prioritised effectively, meeting deadlines in accordance with bank cut-off times.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within banking and treasury operations.
- Assist with drafting and launching new policies and procedures both at the group and jurisdictional levels.
- Work closely with management on new product launches to ensure compliance and governance standards are upheld.
- Maintain schedules for approved banks and third-party providers and review requests for new providers across the group.
- Provide support with ad hoc projects as required.
- Ensure adherence to risk and compliance procedures, particularly with regard to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Adhere to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements in accordance with qualifications and internal procedures.
- Uphold core values and expected behaviours in the performance of duties.
- Undertake any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience in legal, banking, or risk & compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of Jersey's CDD, AML, and financial crime laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of GDPR and other data protection requirements and best practices.
- Experience in writing policies and procedures.
- Strong organisational, planning, and project management skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Solutions-driven with strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic, with a "go the extra mile" attitude.
